  1. I agree with Robert M here.

Allow him to put up the fence.

Give him no reason to cause trouble and keep a record of any trouble he causes (in case the law ever gets involved) - always make sure you're seen to be the better person in these battles.

Lol, I love Junior's answer though - thats funny!

  2. Bad neighbors are a nightmare. He cannot put a fence up on your property. If you feel he did you should find the property lines and go to court and he will have to move it. If you rent you should notify the owner. Stand up against bullies! Good luck.

  3. no, no one is legally allowed to put anything up if it is YOUR property.

  4. Most laws require you to put a fence 6-18" inside of your own property.  Check with the local court house on the law, and if bozo is on the property line illegally, rat his funky, nasty butt out to the law!

  5. the neighbor can put a fence up on his property. and if they step on your yard so what  let them put a fence  saves you money and hassle  with them

  6. they can not put it up on your property line

from my understanding you have to agree to it also

but you know just to say know to spite him, is not really a good reason.

  7. He cannot put up a fence without your permission.  You should go to your local courthouse and check to see what the laws even are as far as if they have to ask permission to even put one up in their yard or not.  If he starts putting one up on your property you can call the cops for trespassing while he is doing it (make sure you have a no trespassing sign posted around there before he does such).  If you happen to go away for a weekend and you come back and he has already succeeded putting one up in your yard, you should get creative and paint it up the way you want it ;).  If you have any kids let them do some artwork, it's on your property right?

If it gets out of hand make sure you have legal documentation...posted signs, pictures, etc.  Keep a dairy of date and time with any confrontations/conversations you've had with this gentleman.

  8. As long as in propery line. Call the law as they say before they call the law on you. Then again She/He get a presented by the law. Busy body.

  9. No.  Call the cops.

  10. Their fence cannot be on your property line.

  11. Make him put the fence in his yard.  But make it easy for him.

Be best friends with your enemies!

  12. If it is their fence, they have right of access to maintain and repair (and put one up). They do need your permission and if they do any damage they are reponsible.

But if the fence needs work....?

  13. put a bigger fence on top of it

  14. no he can not  cross  in to your yard if you own the home there are home boundary's that's was put in your land map of where your property starts and ends  check with your local  land owner guilde  to see who you can speak about this   plus yes i would put in acomplaint on this person with the police .

  15. If you are a renter, it is the landlord who must give permission.  If you are the owner, then you have the "say so".  Even with you having a dog, he does not have the right to infringe upon your property. It is your responsibility to make sure your dog stays on your property.  Make sure you have a plat of your property (for property lines) in case he tries to put up a fence, especially on your property.  If he does, call the police.
