I don't think demon posession is quite like they show in the movies (Like heads spinning around and stuff). I think they just drive people insane or somthing. Like that one guy in the bible who is possessed and screams all the time and cuts himself up. That would just be a weird movie so they add stuff to it.

As I do not believe in The Devil... it is therefore impossible for someone to be "possessed" by a fictitious being.  But by the same token, I'm sure that when a person is suffering from a mental condition, their delusions are as real to them as you or I would be.  So I never discount the power of the human psyche.
