Waterford is big...what part are you thinking about? theres loads of pubs that you can bring children to, most of them are fine outside of the city centre.. i live in Waterford. the best one is Jackmeades during the summer.

yes Jack Meades or the sweep are good

Like the first answerer said kids have to be out by 9, but in small, country pubs they'll pay no notice at all, once your kids are quiet.
