Question:

Can someone recommend a good VOIP carrier?

I am looking for a carrier that has support and good quality sound. It appears there are a lot of companies to choose from. I would also like a good price as I am tired of dealing with AT&T. This is for the USA.

Thank you in advance.

  1. Hey Sam,

As I said in my other answer, you should check out http://voip-reviewer.com

They're the top dogs for VoIP reviews - good luck :)

  2. We are currently using Verizon at work and it's great.  They give a guarantee that you're quality will be good and remain constant, because they put you on a private direct T1 line to the backbone of the net.

I have Vonage at home and it's not as quality as Verizon, but still works pretty well.

  3. I agree with Mike about have a stable ISP for your VOIP service. I have had VOIP for about a year and for $24.95 per month and all the features that come with it, there is nothing better.  I even have music when I put people on hold.  Technology is amazing

  4. If you allready have a high speed connection I hear vonage is really good, I have had Clearwire and they suck, I currentky have service through the cable company and they cost a little more but have a superiior service and speed.

  5. I only can speak for myself here!!! I have Packet8 for over 5 years now and love it!!

I get 40 countries for free, since I talk to Germany for many hours a day...its really worth it!!

I also use the MagicJack. I have send each one to my family abroad so they can call me for free with an US area-code!

I had AT&T for to many years, and its just to expensive with them!

One of the most important is a stable reliable ISP provider to support your VoIP....open ports..etc.
