  1. You should decide how much you can spend - I recommend at least $200 - and then visit your local music store and see what they have in that price range.  The brand doesn't matter all that much since they're all coming out of a factory in Asia, mostly China.

Either bring a friend who already plays or have the salesperson play it for you to see if you like how it sounds.  Make sure to hold it to see if it's comfortable to you; the most popular acoustic shape is called dreadnought which many women and even some men find uncomfortably large.  If that's the case with you, ask to see a smaller size.

  2.   it  depends  on  what  your  allowance  is  for  acoustic guitar,

Yamaha,Gibson,Taylor,Fender,Ibanez ,Guild and  lots  More,I  personally  recommend  Yamaha, last  longer  and  gets better  when  it's  older  I  have  one  for  35  yrs  and  still  sounds  the  same  and  I  think  it's  much  crisper  now  ,not  to  expensive  either.look  around  and  find  the  one  that  looks  good  in  your  eyes,hold  it,  look  in  the  mirror  and  see  if  it  looks  good  on  you ........You'll  know,make  sure  you  can  afford  it   ...........................................

  3. Washburn!!!!!!!

Also, Yamaha is good, or Fender if you can afford it...

But it all depends on model, it would be great if you could find a friend who is already playing for a while so that he can help you, also you have to be sure that when you hold strings you are comfortable with that... So it's not simple answer but trust me with Washburn acoustic you can hardly be wrong ;))

  4. get a seagul guitar. hand made by real luthiers in canada using hardwood not plywood. still very affordable at around $400 for their basic model. most cheap guitars are machine built from plywood.

    seagulguitars.com check their site

  5. you cant go worng with yamaha, fender, and sometimes ibanez

  6. Fender and Gibson I recommend or also Squier and Epiphone are good!

  7. None of 'em is good. HAHA
