I love the classics.

(Wuthering Heights, The Scarlett Letter, Lord of the Flies, Pride and Prejudice)

Also, I love romance books. Preferably one's set at an earlier time. I love castles and Dukes and Kings and Queens.

  1. -The Other Boleyn Girl by Phillipa Gregory

    -Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers

    -March by Geraldine Brooks

  2. The Once and Future King

Mark Twain and Charles Dickens are good.  The Sherlock Holmes stories are great as well.

  3. Suggest you check out a few of the many books Jean Plaidy wrote through the following link... historical fiction on royalty.

http://www.jeanplaidy.com Give her site a moment to load, then click on any book that interests you, especially those you can look inside.

You can also read about books by the woman who wrote The Other Boleyn Girl (a popular book), Philippa Gregory, through the link below.

    http://www.philippagregory.com

Both of these links lead to safe sites, so no worries. Also, you only have to choose books, not buy them there. The library will probably have many of these books.

Good luck finding books you like.

  4. you might like the hobbit

  5. I liked The Mysteries of Udolpho, by Ann Radcliffe. It's set in the 1580s but written in 1794. It's a gothic romance novel, though it's rather long..
