Question:

Can someone reword this (deception point thoughts)?

The book Deception Point by Dan Brown made me think a lot about how much information the government really keeps from US citizens, and whether it should be kept a secret or not. The book also made me think about NASA, and why they are still in business even though they have failed at more projects than they have succeeded at. In addition, I learned a lot about military intelligence corporations, such as the “NRO”, or National Reconnaissance Office. Since the majority of the book is focused on presidential campaigning, I feel I have learned much more about presidential campaigns, since Dan Brown always uses facts in his books to educate readers. I feel I have learned a lot more about some areas of conflict in the US than I had before.

How can i make this sound better. It just sounds awkward and out of order a bit. Thanks!

The book also made me ask myself why NASA is still operating, even though they have more failed projects than successful ones. In addition, I learned a lot about military intelligence corporations, such as the “NRO”, or National Reconnaissance Office. Since the majority of the book is focused on presidential campaigning and Dan Brown always includes interesting facts in his books, I feel I have learned much more about presidential campaigns. I feel I know a lot more about some areas of conflict in the US than before.
