Can someone save me from angry management woman?

I used to work with this woman but she went Hollywood when she was promoted...and won't have anything to do with us any more.

I talked about her, nothing that even she denies is totally truthful...but that's not allowed since it might not please the bosses she cozies up to.

We went for coffee to discuss it and she got so mad that SLAP! and tweetie birds..she stomped out saying she was going to spank me if the rumors about her didn't stop..

I thought she was letting off steam but some of the women here say she has spanked guys in the past. She doesn't like men, has no life outside of work..

I could quit but they say she might let me have it even then..the other guys had quit...

  1. Anyone who hits you can be charged with assault.     You cant spank employees, thats just weird.

  2. I'm too late, your a** has paid the ultimate price.

I would have predicted that would the 'end' result.  I hope you got to the seat of the problem

  3. A favorte book that I've given many others is Nasty People: How to deal with them without becoming one of them.  It's about how others invalidate us, how to turn that to one side without it cutting us apart and giving them the power that they lack and would normally be able to take from us, which would leave us resentful, and mean like they are.

    I recommend it highly.

Of course, it calls on us to take action, but it's rally practical, short and funny--with a  punch.

  4. Silence is the best way to let the steam off and simultaneously to register your opposition as well as unhappiness with the person you are dealing with under these circumstances.  It is better for you to keep your aggression aside and maintain silence.  It will yield prompt results.

  5. Spanking??? That's bizarre!

If she hits you, that is considered assault and you have every right to file criminal charges against her. Tell her you will if she tries it again and that if you are fired or persecuted at work because of it, you'll sue her.

She is only getting away with this because no one SERIOUSLY confronts her.
