First let me preface my little story by stating that I don't really believe in the supernatural- christian, pagan or anything in between, but just recently stumbled upon what I think is a startling relevance of certain numbers in my life. Now I find myself looking for it all the time and am afraid I'm starting to lose it (take note- I'm actually asking this on the net..lol)

Having been unemployed for the past 2 months, I was lamenting to my mother about my situation and she kinda jokingly said "why don't you play the lottery and see if you get lucky". Not being a lucky person and having little extra money I wanted to pick my own numbers and just play that single set. I asked my hubby what numbers should I play- he said to use stuff like birthdays, important dates or numbers in my life. Since being unemployed affords me a lot of free time, I set out to calculate the perfect set of numbers for myself. Keep in mind that you have to choose five numbers between 1-56 and one number between 1-46. So I started playing around. I used old address numbers, starting with 405. Obviously you can't choose this number so I added them together - 4 0 9 = 9. Next house number 306 (3 0 6 =9) Ok, 9 is definitely my 1st number. Next 65- 6 5 = 11. Then my old apt. # 11. Second # is definitely 11. So then I thought, my b-day. I wrote down 26 and 12. Just for fun I added them together - 36, but couldn't help noticing that 3 6 =9, or if you add 1 2 2 6 =11. Wow I thought, what a coincidence! So I took my whole b-day 1 2 2 6 1 9 6 9. 36. Again. Or 3 6=9.Again. My curiosity was provoked so I decided to tinker with other numbers. My phone # totaled 47. 4 7=11. Cool. My last digits of my SS# are 11, or if you add the last 4 digits together they total 11. The 2 middle digits of ss# total 11 and the first 3 total 9. I was born at 8:30 am. 8 3 0 =11. My fisrt child was born at 11:18 am. 1 1 1 8=11. My granddaughter ( his daughter) was born at 9:11pm. I got a call for a job interview who left their message on my machine at 9:11 am for an interview on 7/31 (go ahead, add it up)at 8:30 (yep) Turned it down because of location and because I'm starting a p/t job with better pay. $11 p/h.Hmmm....I could give more examples but I think you get the point. I now find myself adding up sh*t all the time. Am I going crazy - I feel like the guy in the movie "23" Has anyone else experienced this? I think it's only fair to say that I came up with few 6's as well (upside down 9?) lol - somebody say something to return me to rationality. My husband is superstitious and is of no help. So give me your take....

  1. I, too, used to see 9 and 11 everywhere I went. I don't have an explanation, but you're not alone. I had it more with time, like always look at the time right as it changed to 9:11 (and I don't check the time often at night).

  2. You added 26 + 12 and got the answer 36.  That alone should cure your obsession.

  3. well what u have is 2 things....coincience or most likely ur mind is finding answers........when we believe sumthing our mind creates this for us.......althought all of ur signs are using only addition which is a bit wierd, but still......instead of looknig for numbers that add up 2 numbers that u know....look for numbers that dont add up 2 numbers u know, and i  garantee that there will be the same amount of numbers that dont add up as there ae ones that do...

yes this has happen 2 me a couple of times like, my bday is 12 feb and my birth time was 2.28pm therefore 2+2+8 = 12  and 12 is my birth date. My sister was born on the 19th and her birth time was 9.46am 9+4+6 = 19 which is here birthday! and my bro has the same thing aswell! so yeh kinda scary but hey....its fun to look at this stuff.......

BUT! dont let these numbers start making decisions for you or take up 2 much of ur time....

    have fun!
