Can someone seriously give me a GOOD reason for being against the War in Iraq?

And by a GOOD reason, I don't mean complaining about Bush and how he's "such a bad president." Every time someone tells me they're against the war they NEVER give me a reason and/or they don't even know the facts on why it started, so I'm really interested in the other side's opinion...

Despite the fact that we didn't find any WMD's, Saddam Hussein stated that he had every intention of reconstituting his programs as soon as the heat died down, he deliberately made it be known that he had them, it turned out to be BS but he wanted to convince the Iranians that he had them to keep them at bay, he didn't count on us actually going after him, in large part because he had friends, like France, and, hmm! what was that other counrty?, don't tell me, oh yeah Russia!!, and ( remember the oil for food scandal ),people on his payroll in the UN that he was counting on to block any action by the US, which obviously didn't work. The Iraqi people needed to be given a chance to get out from under him and his psychopath/ rapist/ murderous sons, unfortunately Al Quida decided to instigate a civil war which, it seems many have finally rejected that course though. I will admit that France's actions were under the former president and Pres.

Sarcozy seems to be a considerable departure from him,

There is no good reason to be for it.

The "reasons" for the war were lies - and known to be so when given.  All the lies had been exposed in world media while americans were still being lied to.

The only real reason you invaded was to take control of another countries oil supplies.
