  1. x^(3/4)*x^(1/4)=x

  2. Simply treat the radical as you would a variable, and multiply the x's. That would be fourthroot (x^4) or x.

It's been a while so I would recommend looking it up.

  3. √a*√b=√(a*b)

    √a*√a=√(a*a)=√(a^2)=a

    or

    fourthroot(x)=x^(1/4)

    fourthroot(x^3)=x^(3/4)

    fourthroot(x^3) * fourthroot(x)=

    fourthroot(x^4)=x

    or

    x^(3/4)*x^(1/4)=

    x^(3/4+1/4)=x^1=x
