Can someone show me how to solve for x on these type of problems please??

it says to solve for x: |x-a|< or equal to a assume a is a positive number.

1. x < or equal to 2a

2. 0<or equal to x < or equal to 2a

and how do i do one if the sign is pointed the other way like

x> or equal to 2a??

if someone could show me the steps on how to do these thats kinda what im looking for!

    1.You just replace a with a positive number

    2.Solve the right side of the less than sign of the equation

    3.x should be everything less than 2a

    2.x should be everything that is greater than 0 and less than 2a

  2. all i remember is that you can multiply both sides by -1 and then you can flip the sign from &gt; to&lt; or vice versa
