Can someone start gymnastics at 15 ? In newbern NC?

My niece lives in Newbern, NC and she is 15. She told me that she would like to pursue gymnastics, but I was wondering is she to old? Many gymnast start at like 3 or 4 years old. Another question is are there any gyms in New bern that have programs for gymnastics this fall? Which gyms?

I started when I was 16 but had a huge mental block so I stopped and just started again recently (Im now 20) and am doing better than ever!!!

It depends on what her goals are. If she wants to compete it will be difficult but if she's a natural at it, determined, and puts a lot of hard work into it she can def compete!

But if she's interested in cheerleading than its never too late to learn to tumble!

Also looking at the big picture gymnastics in college is very hard to get into unless its a club but its way easier (depending obviously on try out requirements) to get into cheerleading in college or even open all star teams (18+ and over cheer teams)

i started at 13 but didn't continue cuz i wasnt so good but i think that if she tried hard enough that she could do it but idk if there would be a class with girls her age. i was the oldest in my class the second oldest was like 10. i do belive that if she tried and was good at it it is very posible
