  1. it depends what major you are interested with. Most of good universities are located obviosly in the capital San Salvador, i have heard "La universidad nacional" is very good......but im not sure lol. i was born in Santa Ana and i know that the Universidad Catolica de Occidente UNICO is good in engineering and architecture majors, Universidad Nacional In Santa Ana is very popular for the medicine major.

    People say that if someone has studied in a private university. it has paid for pass the classes lol, and if you studied in a public one you are smart cuz it is harder lol
