  1. I went on the Wild Whales tour in July. We saw tons of whales and the tour guide really knew what he was talking about. They have tours going from April 15th through October 31st. It's on Granville Island, which is a really great place to walk around. From our hotel, we walked down Hornby st a few blocks and took the aquabus ferry across to Granville. They're on Mast Tower Rd off Duranleau Street. It's all within walking distance.

  2. From the Vancouver Mtero area the only whale watching tours are out of Richmond and they run thru to October.  My family went on that one and were quite happy with it and saw orcas breeching right by the boat. http://www.bcadventure.com/seabreeze/

    Also out of Richmond   http://www.vancouverwhalewatch.com/

Most whale watch tours though leave off Vancouver Island...which is a seperate place from Vancouver City..... Victoria has many as does Tofino and other Island towns.

    You can them out athttp://www.whalewatchinginfo.com/canada....
