Can someone suggest some places in and around barcelona to visit.?

Will be in barcelone for a week. What are the palces to visit and things to do? Can I get by speaking in English, or do i really need to know spanish

Take the tour bu for the main sights in Barcelona and walk about aswell its the best way to see it.  You must visit Sitges.
