  1. RDR-VX450 is a Sony Combo, which Got VHS & DVD, very very easy to use, and available at Sony stores. with this machine you can playback DVD&VHS and record from:

    VHS to DVD

    DVD to VHS

    TV to DVD

    TV to VHS

And Camcorder to DVD with the I.link socket!

100% you can integrate it with your Home theatre either through Scart cable (5 channels surrounding Sound) or RCA phono cable (Stereo sound)

So it a good one to go for, prices are around £200

  2. Pansonic has always made good DVD players. JVC also makes good VHS players so I would imagine anything from either of those 2 would be quite good.

I would not think twice about buying a panasonic. I have 2 panasonic DVD players and 1 Toshiba.

I would use my toshiba for a boat anchor if it was heavy enough.

  3. the Toshiba SD-V592 was a quite good combo player. It is no longer available and I don't know if the D-VR600 is as good of combo unit as its predecessor.
