I'm clueless and the exam is next week. I was sick when the rest of my math class learned this. Please give me a step-by-step lesson, not just a link to a website.

  1. first u need to know the terms like remainder, divisor, quotient and dividend

    eg :  15 divided by 5

here 15 is dividend ,5 is divisor

now see does 15 comes in table 5 if yes then wat is the no.

    here 5x3=15

therefore 3 is quotient and 0 is the remainder

  2. 510 divided by 20 ok..

20 into 5 does not work so you go to the next number. it makes 51. You find out how many times 51 can go into 20. The answer is 2 with a remainder of 11. now 11 into 20 does not work so you bring down the 0 & it will make 110. 110 into 20 is 5 remainder 10. after that zero there are no more numbers so the and is 25 remainder 10 or put it as a fraction 25 and 10/20 which is 25 and a half.

  3. I made a help sheet for you on paint. I hope it helps. If you want me to help you more, i'd be more than happy to help you. Just send me an e-mail. Good luck on that exam.
