Can someone tel how to get live tv on my computer that actually works not video clips.?

I want a lot of live channels that work such as ESPN, Mtv, and many other tv channels also i want to know if its possible to get free mlb.tv or if there is a good subsitute to it. Thank You.

  1. Not really.

    The other answers both require you to have a cable subscription. You plug the CATV cable into a TV Tuner card in your PC and it has software that lets you tune to a channel.

    The tuner cards also work with antennas - but usually only the major broadcast stations (ABC, NBC, CBS, etc.) are available.

    "Cable Channels" like ESPN, MTV, Food Network, Speed, Oxygen, etc - are ONLY available as part of a cable or sat service.  They are not broadcast with an antenna are not free.

    The cable and sat companies view the sports channels as 'cash cows' and charge $$$ to add them to your existing package.  So they (and the sports franchises behind the games) will fight anyone who tries to make these things available for free.
