The favourite French foods here would be fairly traditional bistro type food, boeuf bourguignon, coq au in, pommes dauphinois and tart tatin (my guesses)

I’d also point soccerstar to the reviews of Tetsuyas the famous French Japanese fusion restaurant in Sydney rated as no 5 in the world. Food here is no longer British it has evolved into an inspired combination of European and Asian cuisines.
