  1. Okay well i don't now about Book but the really old television series called Buffy the Vampire Slayer is a lot like twilight and it will keep you occupied longer. Umm.... You can still get the seasons at most movie stores.

    Hope this helps!

  2. Just wait 5 years. All the fangirls will of written a 100 books just like twilight.

  3. Well, it doesn't fit your criteria perfect, but the "Blue Bloods" series by Melissa de la Cruz is definitely worth looking into.

There is quite a bit of fantasy - but, it's mingled in with the characters and with modern-day Society so well, that one is hardly bothered by it. There's certainly a lot of romance, action, and drama - and, in my opinion, the plot is more developed in this series than it was in Twilight. I definitely prefer Cruz's style over Meyer's.

She also has a number of series that aren't fantasy, which you might find interesting if you're into drama and romance.

There is also the "Vampire Academy" series by Richelle Mead, but that is quite a bit of fantasy as well.

The truth is, the majority of these types of series involve a lot of "otherworldly" situations and characters, but they are set in our day and age - which makes it vastly more interesting to see, and a little more easy to believe, if you ask me.

In any case, the "Vampire Academy" books are slightly more rough around the edges, and the romance scenes are a little more explicit in here than in either the "Blue Bloods" series or the "Twilight" series.

If you'd like to try with Stephenie Meyer again - she has "The Host" out, which is more Sci-fi than Fantasy, but still includes a lot of romance and action. It's 100% worth reading, especially since you enjoyed the "Twilight" series.

    Hope that helps.

  4. I do not know the names of many, but if you go to Barnes and Noble or Borders, most of them have a table with the Twilight series along with some other vampire books and similar books. Then you can look for one you are interested in, read the back to see if it still seems intriguing and buy it or write down the name of it to find at your local library. If there isn't a table like that, you could ask a employee at one of the bookstores what kind of plot you are looking for and they will help you find one. :]
