  2. I like the musicians at the Montreal Jazz Festival every July.  There was this fascinating half-Jewish French Canadian Klezmer singer named Paul Kunigis.  

    I also have some old Quebec celtic music which is really pretty to listen to, it's like Irish folk-sounding with more percussion and vocals in French.

  3. You should look up La Bolduc.  She's a hero of traditional French-Canadian music.  You'll find a lot of songs by her on youtube.  :)
