  1. I've been to Jersey - that was really nice, the milk and food is much nicer, but much much more expensive. Well it was when we went there we spent over £1000 in a week. Never bren to Gurnsey though.

  2. Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney and Sark. (Les Iles de la Manche)

All nearer to France than England. Residents speak English but you will hear local dialects, for example Jersais, spoken on Jersey.  They have their own currency on par with the British pound and English and Scottish notes and coins are accepted (but CI currency is not legal tender in the UK).

All very pretty. Weather is mild all year round; snow is almost unheard of in winter. Each island has a different character. Local industries are tourism, agriculture, marine services, offshore banking and investment (on Jersey, Guernsey).

So good places to visit for holidays. People are friendly and there is plenty to see and do.
