Can someone tell me about the great Orient Express train ?

Somebody got murdered on it in the1930's and Agatha Christie wrote a book about it...

Seriously, the Orient Express was a luxury through train that ran from Paris to Istanbul with through coaches to Baghdad.

The carriages were Wagons Lits, the Euro version of Pullman cars.

The connection to Baghdad ended c. 1958 while the rest of the Orient Express carried on until recently, it still runs from Strasbourg to Vienna; there is also a privately-owned version called the Venice-Simplon Orient Express (VSOE).
