hi, i'm new here, and i need help with finding where everything is. i don't know the right places to ask questions. does anyone know what to do?

POINTS -To Earn more points you have to ANSWER more of questions and sparingly ask them. To get fast quick points get selected Best Answers. Remember to vote on unresolved questions even if it gives you 1 point.

FAST LEVELLING: - Selecting a Best Answer for your question gives back 3 points out of 5, for a question. Max out your daily limits for answering questions. This way you can quickly reach higher levels. To get more points quickly, aim for Best Answers which could potentially push you up so that you can reach the next level in the shortest time possible

HOW YOU GAIN POINTS: -

•Answering a question: -2 points per question

•Voting a question: -Gives 1 point per question

•Choosing a Best Answer to your question:-Gives you 3 points per question

•Get selected as the Best Answer:-10 points per question

•Thumbs up:-1 point per thumbs up you receive on a Best Answer

•Login to Yahoo:-1 point per day

•Login to Y! A for the first time:-100 points

HOW YOU LOSE POINTS:-

•Asking a question: Reduces 5 points

•Deleting an Answer: Reduces 2 points

•Receiving a Violation: Reduces 10 points
