Can someone tell me how to engage the blades on a troy built riding mower? I says engage PTO but where is it?

In the photo of the tractor, the lever sticking up on the left side of the steering wheel,(right side of the photo), is the pto lever.  If you have an electric pto it will be a large pull/push button on the dash.

If it's a rider like in the photo

Then see that handle down by the brake pedal that's it.!

It moves back and forth and sideways and it should have slots to slide it into for the blade adjustment.

I don't have a troy built but I do have a Hydrostatic mower .

This is what it says in my manual; Move the PTO  (blade engage)to the right and forward and place it in a notch for your desired cutting heighth.
