Can someone tell me how to get a gecko out of my house?

I don't know what kind it is I just want it out.

Find a wasp nest, bring it into your home, poke it, and wait for the gecko to come.

I don't know why you would want to. They are not obtrusive and they live on insects, including spiders. In some countries it's considered a sign of good fortune when you see a gecko in your house. We have a lot of them here in Texas and I've never known them to cause any problems.

you can either pick it up or get a cat. i'm not being nasty. i live in texas we get many around here. however with 4 cats in the house they don't last very long.
