Can someone tell me how to get to tijuana from los angeles ive been to many websites an there are un helpful?

Get on the I-5 freeway & drive south until you come to the border.

If by bus, you can take Greyhound which will take you to San Ysidro, bordertown to TIJUANA. You can walk across or take a shuttle.

Driving...freeways 15, 805, and 5 SOUTH.  All merge to Freeway 5 to Tijuana.  Border crossing is a loooooong wait maybe two-four hours.

I-5 south is the way to go... but...

You MUST have a photo identification AND a birth certificate/passport.  They will NO LONGER accept just a driver's licence.

Take I-5 south to Chula Vista... get off at E Street, turn left, cross the tracks. On your left is a parking lot. leave your car there and take the trolley south to the border. Lot easier, less hassles and a quick trip without traffic.  Coming back is a long wait on line but once across, jump on the trolley again back to Chula Vista....
