Can someone tell me how to set a password on my D-Link wireless router so others cant use my internet?

  2. Type on your expplorer 192.168.1.1 then put the username and the password that comes with the router. Then go to wireless management or wireless configuration whatever it says there.

    Then choose the encryption like WPA2,WPA2 enterprise, SSID hiding means that it will not broadcast the signal and outside people cant get the signal. You can also make MAC filtering you can put the MAC address of your laptop and the person you give authorisation.
