Can someone tell me how to voice record using a mic on the computer?

Use a search engine and download a free program called "audacity." Then just make sure that your mic is plugged in and hit record.

Get a microphone, plug it into your computer (usually the pink plug on the back)

Use a program to record, I recommend Goldwave, it's free, search downloads.com for it

Depends what you want to use it for etc.

You can download Audacity, and then save it as suggested above. However, you may not feel comfortable installing a new program, and it has some complicated features. If you want to save it and play it from your computer though, Audacity works very well.

If you want to record something and have it played online (eg., put it on a blog post), go to www.earfl.com. You use the phone to call it in, and then are given a link to your recording online http://www.earfl.com/embed.

They also allow you to record via computer mic -- you just need to register and then click on http://www.earfl.com/recordings/webrecor...

If you have XP pro there is already a program on it to record. Under accessories tab, then under the Entertainment tab. The program is called sound recorder.
