Yeah, I know mini vans arent s**y.  But they get way better gas mileage than comperable SUV's, have more room inside, are much safer in crashes, and cost less.  We always said we would never have a minivan- then we had a baby and test drove one.  We could never go back to an SUV.  We stopped looking all that cool the minute we started having to take a little person that poops in his diaper with us anyway.

Yeah the Honda Pilot would be a nice choice but I hear they will be redoing the design soon, however the Mazda CX9 is also a nice sharp car that runs well

id say definitly the ford explorer eddie bauer edition. with power fold 3rd row back seat. that is a great suv/truck. rides smooth, and has excellent features. i really do reccomend it to anyone with children or who does lots of vacatining with family or friends. even if you dont need the 3rd ro back seat, you can get the power fold back row seats and it gives you pleanty of room in the trunk for baggage. best vehivle ever!
