Can someone tell me the proper wheel order to bleed brakes on 2003 Chevy Venture after repacing MC?

New master cylinder installed and I was told there is a certain order in which I must bleed the brakes....

  2. right rear, then left rear, then right front, and last left front.

  3. 1. The furthest away from your master cylinder ( passenger side rear)

    2. Driver side rear.

    3. Passenger side front.

    4. Driver side front.

    Some vehicles only require bleeding at the master cylinder.

  4. if i were you I would refer to the repair manual for your particular vehicle for the bleeding order. and yes don't forget to bleed the MC.

  5. yep there is! start with the wheel farthest away from the master cylinder, like right rear, left rear, right front, then the left front. before you installed the new master cylinder, did you bench bleed it first?, if not, you should have bled it before you installed it.

  6. Bleed the furthest away from the master cylinder first, then continue to the closest. That gives the pattern the first two answers gave.

    Some cars will be different.


  7. rt rear, lt rear, rt front, lt front- bleed master cylinder first so you're not putting air into the system
