Can someone tell me the purpose of invading iran?

Iran is a rich country... rich in oil which the super powers need nowadays.  It is a beautiful country which I always longed to see ever since I was able to see the beautiful places there in the history books.

A suicide mission is what the purpose would be. However I think anybody who is daft enough to invade Iran then it would be purely for oil and greed. They underestimated Iraq, so I think underestimating Iran would be even more dangerous.

Bush claims the Iran is enriching uranium to build nuclear weapons. He asked them to stop, but, Irans president insist that they are only using uranium as a power source and refuses to stop its uranium enrichment program.

Like Iraq, the sole purpose of invading IRAN is getting hold of Oil and natural gas. US needs more oil, it will get it and Iran will have to pay for Americans' cars, industries and armed forces.

There will be no invasion of Iran. If they insist on developing nuclear bombs, the nuclear facilities will be pulverized from the air. Invasion is not necessary.

The crazy mullahs and terrorists cannot be allowed to own nuclear bombs.
