Can someone tell me what customs is like in Germany?

I am going to Germany soon and would like to know what to expect in Customs.

I flew into frankfurt 2 months ago and had no problem with any customs. I had lots of strange things as well (all my fishing gear). Nothing was asked. I even have a sort of beat up passport. Have fun its a great country

u can ususally walk thru the gate easily. won´t take you too much time :-)

Normally you can walk right through the gate. Occasionally they may make you open up a suit case.

They are not as strict as customs in the USA.  Mainly looking for illegal stuff, cigarettes, booze and clothing.  Coming as a tourist you should be ok.
