ok so im filling out the application to volunteer at this place and it asks "Will your volunteer hours fulfill a court-mandated requirement?"

can you tell me what do they mean??

i really don't get it. :(

  2. Some people have to do community service when they go to court.  So when you volunteer to do work they want to know if you are fulfilling a court ordered community service or are you just doing it cause you want to help.

  3. Yeah, its what Belle said. They wanted to ask if u were a criminal and have to do volunteer service hours as punishment. Since you don't know what it is, I'm assuming not, so you would say no.

  4. I'm pretty sure it has somehting to do with jury duty. Don't quote me but court mandated usually means that a court has given you a specific task to fulfill.

  5. It means, did the courts tell you that you have to do community service because of something that you have done wrong.  That's what it means.  If you are just a regular person, you write down no, and don't worry about it.
