Can someone tell me what its like on the Eureaka Skydeck?

Can someone tell me what its like on the Eureka Skydeck in Melbourne? I'm going there this Holidays and I'm Scared stiff..... If anyones been on it, can you tell me what its like? I'm not afraid of heights or anything, but its the highest point i the Southern Hemisphere!!! I've heard of The Edge thing.... but is it the same as the Skydeck? Please Help me!!!

The Skydeck is just a name for the observation level. There's nothing to worry about, there are magnificent views, and some great information and facts on Melbourne up there. The Edge is a glass box which portrudes out of the side of the tower. That costs extra, and is a little scary at first, but well worth it in the end.

You will have NO problems on the Skydeck.  But I cannot answer for The Edge.

The Melbourne Skydeck is only 40 metres higher than the Sydney version at the Sydney Tower, which I have been to a few times.

I AM scared of heights, I can't even climb a small ladder to change a lightbulb, but I have no problem with the Skydeck type thing, as long as I have a solid surface under my feet, that I cannot see through !!.

The Edge, having a Glass floor would scare me witless !!
