Can someone tell me what my brother did to my computer! I tried to do a search from my yahoo toolbar... which is now gone and I cant even d/l I tried... and when I try to do a search from my messenger i get a page that has all the text and color smushed over to the left of page. He really screwed something up and I cant figure out what. I tried to d/l google toolbar and I cant, and yahoo but cant, I also have to go to my address bar to do searching.. GRRRRR

Did you ask your brother what he did?  And if it's YOUR computer, what was he doing on it anyway?  Or is it a shared computer?  Either way, I would first try asking him what he did.  You don't say how old he is... that could make a difference too.

I would check history to see where he's been on the internet.  Don't click on anything... just search through the list.  It's very possible he's been to a site that caused a virus.  Or possibly he downloaded somethat that caused a virus.  I think that may be your problem.

u can also check addresses of sites by going into tools of toolbar and then intenet option and then view the list of sites , he went,

by the way it seemseither he has downloaded a threat(virus) or interruted the homepage settings.
