Question:

Can someone tell me what spoilers are?

I hear people mentioning them all the time and i have no clue what the are talking about.

  1. gives away the ending or the best part   like if u have NEVER played halo or UT or ever heard of them  if i tell u all you do is moving a killed people in deathmatch mode thats kindof like a spoiler


  2. It refers to a critique of a movie, book, etc that will actually have information in it that will either give away the ending or give away the answer to a plot twist that you may not want to know because it may spoil the surprise of the event for you.

A spoiler when referring to people, are people who ruin the outcome of a situation or story or circumstance.  A spoiler is most commonly talked about, (where I come from anyways), is a car spoiler, the fin on the rear of a car, most likely a Ford Mustang or Subaru, to enhance performance and speed, and give the car a more exotic look. I am going to assume that your question deals with automobiles.  Vehicle spoilers are the only spoilers that I know of.  I hope that I have assumed correctly.  Back in the 70s auto makers began mounting on the back area of certain cars, usually on top of the trunk door, something that looked like a small table about 6" wide and length about the width of the trunk and resting on two legs about 6" high.  This was/is suppose to allow better  balance and handling at high speeds.  Now that you have an idea of what a spoiler is, please talk to those whom you heard mention spoilers and I think that you will get more details.

  24. lol. yea. spoilers are when someone comments on a show or game or something giving away what others might not know yet.. they spoil the surprise.... hence the name... ppl use them to get game cheats or learn about a movie or show if there too impatient or didn't catch something.. :)

  25. A spoiler is either wut the other people before me mentioned or a wing placed (usually) on the back of a car.  This can be a large wing such as those seen on "ricer" cars or a small wing as can be seen to reduce drag (on cars such as a porsche).

  31. Spoilers are experts from the real boom or story, that you may not know of yet. This is to tell you that if you have not read the book or story but plan to, but don't want to ruin it, to not read that fanfiction. The parts of the novel you may not know yet are written in the text. See fanfiction for more information on those.
