Can someone tell me what the taste difference is between normal beef and Wagyu beef?

I know the cows are massaged daily and given beer but does this REALLY affect the taste and can the price ever be justified?

  1. They taste alike but not the same . Wagyou beef is full of flavor and so tender you can cut it with a fork.


  2. Wagyu it's in the marbling and they are the tenderest and most tasty. Yes I guess the price is justified because of the time to get the steer to market. But you know supply and demand, if everyone wanted vanilla ice cream that price would go up too.

  4. Wagyu is a type of cow whose meat is highly marbled.  It's beef that better than USDA Prime.

    Wagyu is the type of cow that Kobe Beef harvested from.  Kobe beef (from Kobe, Japan) is the beef that is fed sake and massaged.

  5. Wagyu beef has a much fuller, more articulated and complex structure of "good" flavor than regular beef.

  6. I think that is marinated yak wang, stir fried with noodles.
