Can someone tell me what these are ? *PIC*?

The little white stuff on it.. it looks like pieces?? are they maggots or is it the p**p of some animal/insect ? I took out my sewing machine and I saw these stuff on it. It's disgusting.. I havent used the sewing machine in about 20 years.. Thanks

It does look like dried flower pieces, but if it isn't, it may be old moth cocoons.  Just brush it off and you should be fine.

It looks like pieces of dried flowers.  From the pic, I see a slight purple color to them.  

Is it stored around any type of arrangements of dried flowers?  or think back, maybe you had it near a floral arrangement when you used it last.
