I have been having problems with my recently built pc. It crashes often to the blue screen. Searching the errors the came up and using the minidump files didn't help me at all.

So I tried a memtest and this is what I got.

If anyone could tell me what that means that would be great. I know the test isn't finished but it stopped like that.

  1. If you have more than one RAM card, you might try removing one card at a time and repeating the memory test to see if you can narrow down the problem.

  2. Try this  to test... 512MB DDR333, PC2700 ...set sw on mb to 166.... set ck ratio switch >>12.5x 166mhz ...

  3. Mem Test

    MEMORY TEST

Your RAM- needs to be replaced,

  4. Look at the errors it got:  1,016.  One or all of your sticks are bad.  Get 'em checked at a mom and pop computer place or a big store with a hardware checker...the type that they use in the industry or factory environment.  In the future, maybe get your sticks checked or scanned before paying or walking out the door.

  5. looks like that RAM chip is bad i would replace it.
