I think this serial was directed by a director named anil jaitley. One of its episodes was about a boy named Bhairu who comes to a city from a village and starts working in someones house and then later he starts earning money by selling tea at a railway station. The family for whom Bhairu works is a small 4 member family (parents and two children (elder child is a girl and the younger one is a boy)). Now this boy steals his sisters taperecorder and the sister blames Bhairu for the theft who gets really hurt by this. and finally when she comes to know that it was her own brother who had stolen the taperecorder she regrets and feels really bad for the boy.

Apparently it is "Chori Chupke" (you left out the "k") ... and there is a bunch of it on youtube.com
