  1. If you can't skate, take the learn to skate classes before you take the learn to play hockey classes.

Take any one of the learn to skate classes.

  2. I believe you should attend the skating lessons.  Don't worry about anything else on the ice until you learn to skate.  It is by far the most important part of the game and what makes hockey unique to other sports.  You would not get the most out of the other classes until you improve your skating.  Hope this helps.  Go to open skating as much as possible as well.  Skate as much as you can at every opportunity.  Skate, Skate, Skate, Skate, Skate!

  3. I couldn't agree more with the others.

You gotta be able to skate, forward at the bare minimum, to play hockey, even at the lowest of levels.

If this were baseball, would you even give a chance to someone who couldn't run to the right base? Who couldn't catch a ball, or throw it to the wrong base? (Sorry if I went off topic guys, but I hope this makes Crow realise their ambitions are a bit .. extreme eh)

  4. take skating lessons before you do hockey camp...take skating lessons this summer and then do hockey camp next summer...and then you can play in some kind of league just for fun

  5. skateing lessons

  6. Yeah, definitely start out with skating classes.  A hockey class isn't going to do you any good if you can barely stay on your skates.  I would put off hockey classes until you are very comfortable skating regularly and at least somewhat comfortable skating backwards.
