  1. First of all, DO NOT BUY A TABLE FROM WAL-MART, or any other department or sporting goods store.  They aren't real and you will only be let down by them.  Everything about them is substandard.  If you really want a pool table, go to a billiards retail store in your area.  You should be able to find one in the yellow pages.  They will guide you through everything you need to know about getting a table.  They will help you find the right size one for the room you want to put it in.  Happy Shopping.  M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.

  2. The 90 is larger, 7 1/2 ft.

Always buy the larger pool table, then when you play on a smaller one, it will be easier for you to make the long shot.

And if you can afford it, buy one with a real slate top and real wood legs and frame, it will last forever.  We have one that we bought used almost 20 years ago. The tops on the cheap one will warp in a couple of years and the legs will come apart when you move them. If you can't buy a new one with a slate top, watch the paper for someone selling a used one.

And try to find one that is 8ft / 96 inch, this is what is considered a full size table.
