Can someone tell me why men are SO grossed out when the topic of a woman's period comes up??

Their all sissies like..."ewwww!" Really, and they play gory videogames and watch gory movies and periods are just normal and natural. I don't get it?

HERE'S THE THING, JESS:MOST MEN ARE NOT GROSSED OUT BY IT, BUT MOST IMMATURE BOYS ARE,THEY DONT UNDERSTAND IT, THEY ARE AFRAID OF WHAT THEY DONT KNOW. MOST MEN DONT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH IT BECAUSE THEY HAVE BEEN AROUND IT ENOUGH TO UNDERSTAND IT AND ACCEPT IT AS NORMAL AND NATURAL,AND ONE DAY ALL THOSE IMMATURE BOYS WILL GROW INTO MEN AND IT WONT BOTHER THEM EITHER, THEN WE WILL HAVE A WHOLE NEW BATCH OF IMMATURE BOYS TO TAKE THEIR PLACES.

Boys maybe but not the men that I know. They are pretty cool about it and pretty sympathetic about the pains that comes with it. I guess thats how you separate the boys from the men.

I don't understand why guys are like that. Those kinds of guys are morons. The menstrual cycle is a natural part of being a female. It's an important part of being a woman. It should be honored and respected.

because vaginas are the opposite of masculine...and men like to feel masculine. Men are also more likely to be scared of blood, since they don't have it flowing out of their orifices regularly and such.

I'm a guy and even *I* can't figure it out.  

I've never been grossed out by it... not even by having s*x - including oral - during a woman's period.

What's wrong with guys, I think, is that they associate blood with illness and injury... and the thought of someone bleeding naturally without these (and apparently without harm) makes them feel creeped out in some way or other.

I dunno, though.   Never been a problem for me.

LOL... think about it.. they put part of themselves into the same hole that we bleed out of... I would be grossed out as well. Its just one of those things that guys are immature about sometimes.
