  1. Titile:

    傀儡謡_怨恨みて散る

a song of puppet - die holding animosity

    - 傀儡謡

       a song of puppet (marionette)

        Ã¥Â‚€å„¡

       puppet, marionette

       謡 = 歌

       song

    怨恨みて散る

    - die, holding animosity

       怨恨みて = 恨んで

       with animosity

怨恨み = 怨み、恨み (a kind of highlighting by duplicattion of two Kanjis each has same meaning)

       散る

burn off = die (a poetic expression of die,  metaphor or figuration reminds all Japanese Sakura which suddenly die beautifully)

    Lyrics:

    一日一夜に 月は照らずとも

Although the moon doesn't shine every one night,

    悲傷しみに鵺鳥 鳴く

but Mue (a monster bird in legend) sings every night sadly.

    吾がかへり見すれど

Even if I look back the past,

    花は散りぬべし

    The flowers (Sakura) burn off.

    慰むる心は

    消ぬるがごとく

As if the heart of consolation already disappeared

    新世に 神集ひて

In this new world Gods are gathered

    夜は明け 鵺鳥 鳴く

    day broke, Nue sing

    咲く花は

    神に祈ひ祷む

The flowers (Sakura) pray to gods

    生ける世に

    我が身悲しも

Although the situation in this life are tragic,

    夢は消ぬ

    cannot give up a dream.

    怨恨みて 散る

    die holding animosity.

This lyric is written in old Japanese, may be using words of Heian piriod which is 1,000 ago from now, but easy to understand.

(you know, averag Japanese man can manage to understand the language written in 1,000 ago even today, like Genji Monogatari)

It's very emotional, many Japanese like that kind of lyric no matter young or old.

But honestly I can't see what he want to tell in this Lyric. That means only two:

    - I'm sad and hate this world.

    - I'm dying and curse you!

Is it worth making poem? I'm doubtful, but people in Japan all like to taste the emotional feeling in lyric or poetry, and hate someone who give them a good lecture (like me).
