  1. omnes homines mores nostros atque inertiam contemnunt

    -----

    omnes homines = lit. all the people [in the world].

    mores = character, behavior, morals.

    inertiam = inactivity; laziness, idleness; ignorance.

    contemnunt: from "contemno, contemnere" = to despise; disdain; scorn; hold in contempt.

    -----

    Pronounced (upper case indicates accent):

    OHM-nays HOM-ee-nays MOR-ays NOS-tros AT-kway een-AIR-tee-ahm con-TEM-nunt

  2. I haven't had Latin for about a year and a half now, but this is the best I can come up with....the grammar is escaping me right now.

    Mundus odet quomodo conversā́mus et nam quomodo dēfícimus conversor.
