Can someone try and interpret this dream?

Question

The dream began with this city I keep seeing in my dreams, and from what I've seen, it's supposed to be Branson, Missouri. My entire school grade and I were inside a three or four story building and we were doing a science experiment on the top floor. There were other schools down below on the lower floors, as well. Something went wrong, so everyone from our grade went onto the roof. The building then began to collapse and we all fell off the roof and onto the ground, and since it was a dream, mostly everyone was okay after the large fall that had been on the roof. But then everyone who was on the lower floors was killed, and there were bodies hanging out of windows. I ran around the ruins to find my boyfriend, but I couldn't find him in the large crowds. I was informed that he was injured, but he was alive.

It may not sound frightening, but that was one of the saddest dreams I have had. Please, what could collapsing buildings mean? And the fact my boyfriend was one of two hurt?

I think that maybe you're, first of all, imagining yourself and your peers to be superior to others (based on the fact that your grade was located on a higher floor).  Something has either fallen apart in your life or you're worried something is about to (collapsing building).  As for the injured-but-alive boyfriend, maybe something has happened in your relationship ... a rift of some sort.  To me, it almost seems as if your relationship has most definitely changed (injured), but it's still intact (alive).

it was probably just a random dream.. but if it happens a couple more times like the exact same dream then its really weird.. but i wouldnt worry about it

The building falling my not mean what you think it could jusst be something that you saw on tv or read about sometime before you went to sleep, there fore you dream about it, and you boyfriend being one of two people could show that you like him verry much, but i am not a theroopist or even out of high school but i am saying it is probably not too much to worry about!  =}

I think maybe you are having issues with your boyfriend and the collapsing building are a symbol of that.   Either the relationship has collapsed or you fear that it has.  

The ruins to me symbolizes what is left of the relationship or what you perceive as left.

I may be off... but does the science experiment represent some sort of social experiment that happened in the waking world?

My guess is that something has been emotionally crushing.  Something has happened that has left either you or your boyfriend hurt by the experience.

First of all, there may be media like news (9/11), earthquake of China that may trigger this dream.  Building collapse may symbolize insecurity.  However,

building = social life

collasped = insecrity, relationship being damaged.

boy friend being injuried only = hope, regret

That dream may sound frightening to you, it does imply about some dependency in you.  And there may be some peer pressure involved.  Projecting all the students going to the roof with you and okay, but everyone else on the lower floors died symbolizes some peer pressure you have.  You may be hanging into some thing you believe that you feel it is right for you.  The others being killed in the dream may suggest that you are seeking for some hope.  The focus in this dream is especially about your boyfriend.  You show your concern in dream, but also implies support you are relying on.

The collapse building in some sense is insecurity of you, the boy friend being found okay in other sense hints about your desire.  You probably put him in first in may priorities.    You may be stressed about things you can't accomplish.  Buildinging collapse and boy friend being found okay may have something to do with some relationship that is starting to crack.  Perhaps, there is some disagreement going on and that caused you feeling regret in some aspect of your life.  That is why had this dream vent out about him and building collapsed.
