She had the accident while he was a POW. I'm sure 6 years of h**l he probably lost his connection with her, and then after he came home, he felt he couldn't leave her because of her injuries, but when you just don't love someone anymore, you shouldnt stick with them just because you feel bad for them.

Well the only way he could do that is if he publicly admits that he did wrong. I did see him publicly admit that he was wrong about that.  So I think at this point we need to learn to forgive and forget.

Absolutely not ! McCain is a hypocrit. He supports affirmative action (as shown by appointing an unqualified inexperienced veep, who happens to be a conservative woman), votes with Bush 95% of the time (what a maverick !), follows the polls (doesnt stand his ground), panders to the Bush conservatives and does what his pollsters tell him (what a rugged independent), and puts our nations security at risk.

Im also interested in why hes been so active in blocking release of Vietnam records ? Whats he got to hide - did he get preferential treatment from the Vietcong cos of daddy ?
