  1. Not in US. You must have F1 Student Visa to attend college.

  2. You have to get a student visa. And in order to do THAT, I believe you have to get accepted and enrolled in a specific college or university.

  3. I believe you have to be accepted first, then you can apply to the US for an E visa.

  4. I am in the USA on a TN visa. My daughter was living with me on a TD visa and she was able to get an F-1 visa for college. Just check with the international student office at one of the schools you are applying to. They love to have students who are paying full price.

  5. She must take her I-20 and application for the F1 student visa to the consulate nearest to her home in her country.  She will be interviewed there.  And she has to prove she has sufficient funds to pay all of her school expenses, all of her living expenses, plus transportation back to her own country upon completion or termination of studies.

She cannot apply for a student visa while within the US.  And if she has been in the US on a tourist/visitor visa, she should plan on staying home at least 6 months before applying for another visa.

  6. I think you have to return to your own country to get a student visa.  Check with the school's admissions office.
